Freeform Image Generation

Use the Image card, Easy and Advanced generator controls, imports, references, histories, and specialized image modes.

The Image card

Create opens the image dialog. Redo starts another image using the current asset context. History lists earlier image generations. Inspect shows job and output details. Edit opens the Image Editor.

Easy presets

Easy presets configure common combinations for characters, VFX, textures, and parallax work. They are a starting point, not a replacement for reviewing the detailed settings. Texture enables tileability. Character and VFX help prepare removable backgrounds. Parallax configures a wide horizontally repeatable source.

Advanced controls

Advanced mode exposes prompt, size, quality, references, sketch, style, projection, tiling, extension, background, and other generation options directly. Use it when a preset is close but not exact.

Import and reference

Import your own image instead of generating one, or use another view or asset as a reference. A reference affects appearance; an import becomes the actual source image.

Specialized modes

  • Tileable creates repeatable texture edges.
  • Horizontally tileable creates repeating wide scenery.
  • Extend adds content on a chosen side of an existing image.
  • Isometric and 3/4 Top-Down control projection and are incompatible with tileable texture mode.
