Wizard vs. Freeform
Choose the right asset-page workflow and switch between them safely.
The same asset, two interfaces
Wizard and Freeform operate on the same asset and completed jobs. Switching the toggle does not duplicate or discard generations. It changes how controls are presented.
Use Wizard when
- You are creating a first image, animation, or sprite sheet.
- You want the Studio to reveal only the steps needed for the chosen end product.
- You want reminders about prompt scope, orientation, transparency, and export settings.
Use Freeform when
- You need several animations such as Idle, Walk, Attack, and Hurt.
- You want image, animation, and sprite-sheet cards visible together.
- You need histories, redo controls, advanced image presets, parallax splitting, or rapid iteration.
- You are maintaining an established asset rather than following one linear run.
A practical combined workflow
Start a new subject in Wizard, complete one successful pipeline, then switch to Freeform to add extra angles and animations. Return to Wizard whenever a guided sequence is more convenient.
