Asset Projects

Create and manage a project for characters, props, effects, textures, and backgrounds.

When to create a project

Create a project for one game, prototype, client, or cohesive pack. Project-level organization makes searching and visual consistency easier. Map Projects are a separate project kind and should be used when you need an editable map rather than only standalone art.

Create and rename

From Studio choose New Project, then New Asset Project. Open the project card to create assets and folders. Project names can be changed later without changing asset IDs or generation ownership.

Project-level consistency

A project can provide a shared palette. Individual assets can inherit the project palette, override it, or use no palette. Keep projection, scale, outline weight, and lighting conventions consistent across assets even when no palette is selected.

Deleting projects

Deletion is destructive. Download final deliverables and confirm that no referenced asset or generation is still needed before deleting a project.
