Jobs, Artifacts, Polling, and Downloads

Monitor queues without false stall detection and retrieve owned outputs safely.

Job states

Jobs move through queued, processing, completed, or failed states. Queue position and estimated wait data help set polling frequency.

Polling guidance

Queued jobs may not update their timestamp until database state changes. Poll queued work less frequently than active processing. Do not declare a job stalled solely because updated_at remains unchanged while queued.

Artifacts

A completed job can contain one or more outputs, thumbnails, previews, or metadata. Use the job and sequence expected by the endpoint. Owned-asset download routes verify that the authenticated account can access the associated project asset.

Storage and URLs

Artifact URLs may be proxied or temporary. Download them promptly and store durable game deliverables in your own project storage. Do not assume a signed or temporary URL is permanent.
